The kennel “Bygstubben” is a small
family place for Chihuahua breeding. We are members of the
Danish Kennel Club, which is the only Danish member of the
FCI (Federation Cynologique International). Our family
consists of my husband Kim (43), our three children Christinna (18), Christian (16), Caroline (10) year and
myself Dorthe (40) - and of course our five beautiful
Chihuahuas: Lucky, Beauty, Minka, Nusta, and Nicko. We live
in a small village near the “Limfjord” about 20 km from
Aalborg in Denmark.

Our interest in Chihuahuas, and
especially my interest, started in 1990 when I had my first
Chihuahua called Vicky’s Tikki who was a cute and very nice
pet. And with a smile on her face she saw our family grow
from two to five members. When she got old and died we were
devastated and thought that we would never again own a
Chihuahua. It was very painful to loose such a beautiful
creature and a new Chihuahua was unthinkable.
However, once you have owned a Chihuahua
you will never forget it. So in 2001 I started looking for a
new little friend. My first Chihuahua after Vicky’s Tikki
was a little red/brown dog. And once I had started, more
Chihuahuas came along. Today I have 3 females and 2 males.
In May 2003 I got my kennel called “Bygstubben” and a year
after I received my breeding education under The Danish
Kennel Club.
With my Chihuahua breeding programme I
aim to breed healthy, typical and mentally strong Chihuahuas
who can become lovely companions to there two-legged
friends.
We would very much like to invite you for
a visit. But please phone first and make an appointment.
